Macquarie and Ferrovial announce sale of AGS Airports

On 13th November 2024, Macquarie and Ferrovial announced agreement had been reached for the sale of AGS Airports (comprising Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton airports) to AviAlliance. The terms of the transaction represent an enterprise value for the business of approximately £1.53 billion.

Altitude Aviation Advisory (part of the Infrata Group) provided comprehensive vendor due diligence to support the sale incorporating traffic, commercial, technical and ESG aspects. Our work included reviewing the AGS business plan, developing independent long term forecasts and ESG due diligence (undertaken by Infrata).
